The Earle Arms
The Earle Arms
As most residents now know, Andrew Harrison (H) has decided to hand over the keys to the Earle Arms after 26 memorable years at Heydon. Under H’s direction the Earle Arms has a made a huge contrubution to village life and the success of the pub is closely linked to the character of the community.
The Earle Arms will close on Christmas Eve but it will be reopening in 2026 in an exciting partnership with Bread Hospitality. Bread is a highly sucessful hospitality business set up by local entrepreneurs, Tom and Laura Ginn who will be recruiting a new team to manage the pub with help from Bridget and Paula, we hope.
Please rest assured that we recognise what a truly unique pub The Earle Arms is and although we are planning to freshen it up, we will be taking great care to preserve the special charm of the place.
Nothing is certain in these difficult times, but (all being well) the Earle Arms will reopen in April next year and we’ll be keeping the community up to date as work progresses in the New Year.
